As an apprentice in the manufacturing industry I am driven to become not just a tradesperson, but a forward-thinking contributor to modern engineering, leading change in sustainability practices and furthering my qualifications.

I hope to visit ARB’s Thailand manufacturing facility, a site renowned for its cutting-edge production technologies, precision manufacturing, and strong commitment to sustainable practices.

This environment offers a unique opportunity to gain first hand experience in large-scale manufacturing that balances efficiency with environmental responsibility. My goal is to understand how their engineering teams implement sustainable design, use advanced machinery to optimise workflow, and apply lean manufacturing principles throughout production to minimise waste.

I am also eager to explore how cultural differences influence responsible consumption across different countries. Bringing this knowledge back to Australia, I can share valuable insights with my team and introduce effective changes that enhance our operational sustainability.

“Max is an excellent candidate whose values strongly align with BBM’s mission. He thinks globally but acts locally, and his passion for creating a more efficient, environmentally conscious manufacturing sector is evident throughout. He is not only technically skilled, but also personally driven to share, mentor, and improve systems for the benefit of others with a genuine love for his trade.”
