2025 | Horticulture

"I want to create sustainable green spaces that benefit both people and the environment."

I have a passion for plants, biodiversity, and urban greening through landscape planting, re-vegetation projects, and volunteering with NDIS members. I want to create sustainable green spaces that benefit both people and the environment.

The Global Footprints Scholarship will enable me to visit leading industry projects in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Utrecht to explore innovative horticulture practices including green walls, sustainable urban farms and hydroponics.

I aim to bring these techniques back to Australia, creating efficient, sustainable green spaces, fostering community connections, and contributing to a cleaner, healthier environment while advancing my horticulture career.

Cameron shows strong passion for horticulture and sustainability, from personal projects to volunteering with NDIS members. His interest in the Netherlands highlights a desire to learn global best practices in urban green spaces, biophilic design, and sustainable horticulture. Motivated and curious, he aims to apply these insights in Australia, demonstrating both vision and practical commitment. Cameron is a deserving candidate for the Global Footprints Scholarship.”
