2025 | Trade - Automotive: Motorcycle Mechanic

“Sustainability isn’t just a concept, it’s a mindset, a lifestyle, and a pathway to shaping a cleaner, safer, and more innovative future for my industry and my community.”

Restoring a dirt bike in Year 10 led to a life-changing apprenticeship driven by curiosity and determination.

I hope to expand my passion, leadership, and advocacy skills to create a better, more sustainable motorcycle industry. I’m passionate about mentoring, reducing harmful consumption, and imagining cities designed around electric bikes and motorcycles - creating healthier, closer-knit communities.

This Scholarship is an opportunity to explore sustainable techniques and materials in the motorcycle industry and to experience different cultures, languages, and work practices in the industry I love.

I want to learn from Stark Future in Spain, China’s expertise in innovations and material sourcing, and Japan’s precision driven approach to engineering. These countries are leading the charge in sustainable electric motorcycles and practices and I will strive to bring their groundbreaking ideas, vision, and skills back home to drive a more sustainable future for Australia.

“An excellent application and a very impressive candidate. This applicant would be an ideal scholarship recipient and has demonstrated hard work, dedication, personal achievement and development.”
