In Honour of Sir John Pagan

“My goal is to become a sustainable horticulturalist, a career path driven by my deep passion for the environment, agriculture, and innovative, eco-friendly solutions.”

I hope to deepen my understanding of water harvesting to renewable energy for agricultural use, to organic food production, to green roofing and horticultural infrastructure.

Hands-on experience, collaboration, and exposure to diverse perspectives will challenge me to think critically, act ethically, and cultivate a deeper connection between people, plants, and the planet.

I hope to visit the Earthship Biotecture program which has project sites in 25 countries across Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas.

Earthships are innovative homes designed to be sustainable, economical, and affordable using recycled materials that would otherwise end up in landfills, addressing two global challenges: waste management and housing affordability.
